ABOUT
Dr. Shawna Lipton is a writer and scholar. She is Associate Professor and Chair of the MA in Critical Studies program at the Pacific Northwest College of Art at Willamette University in Portland, Oregon.
She received her Ph.D. in Literature and Cultural Theory from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Her research and teaching interests include visual studies, critical pedagogy, and gender studies.
She serves on the Board of Directors at Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA).
